Reinstall issue

Was having trouble with host-installed osc, had both default.php & index.php on same install. Ran into some blank page troubles.

Downloaded oscommerce-2.2ms2 . Installed in another directory. Dragged catalog files over > launched installer > used previous db info > it put in paths & http stuff > told me I was done.

At the end of install you can to admin or store. Admin works fine. See old store products but not pics. Fine.

Go to store

new store

and get error messages

Warning: main(includes/languages/english.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/chrisk19/public_html/wwp2/includes/application_top.php on line 285

Warning: main(includes/languages/english.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/chrisk19/public_html/wwp2/includes/application_top.php on line 285

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required 'includes/languages/english.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/chrisk19/public_html/wwp2/includes/application_top.php on line 285

Now I took a peak at my configure.php files and none of the info had changed during the install as far as I could see though the installer suggested it would change. Permission 777.

Now I can make my way back to the admin page and it looks good. Has info from previous store attempt.

Does the web based installer write to the configure.php files and put in paths etc? It suggested that it would. I got a successful install message.

since you say that the admin side works, check the 2 configure.php files and look to see if the file paths are the same in each one.

I suspect that the one in includes/configure.php is incorrect.
