Hello,

I am using the newest osCommerce, and looking to edit way categories text. I think this mod is what I need, but, I am having a little trouble with the directions. I have searched and no luck finding help...please help

1)the directions refer to the code below and a .sql file. what director does the .sql file go in?

# Table structure for table `web_site_content`

# (file included in contribution as web_site_content.sql)

DROP TABLE IF EXISTS web_site_content;

CREATE TABLE web_site_content (

page_name varchar(50) NOT NULL default 'index',

text_key varchar(50) NOT NULL default 'key',

text_content longtext,

date_modified date default NULL

) TYPE=MyISAM;

2)the directions tell to

"Second, for all of the osc pages, at the very top above the code line:"

what files are being referenced here?

SQL needs to be put into your database, not a folder or file.

For all of the OSC pages I am going to assume they mean all of the main files inside your catalog folder but without seeing the full instructions I can't be sure.

the database is not part of osc. It is something you had to have set up before installing osc on your host, or they set it up for you. Some people have to get to it through their webhosts control panel others can get to it using a http://address

If you can't figure it out you should look at your webhosts help area.
