♥Vger Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 Unless you own the server (it's your own dedicated server) then you don't have the permission to install php or mysql. If you do own the server - Win 2000 - bad choice. You'll be applying security patches on an almost daily basis. Wouldn't recommend MySQL latest, as it has problems. php5 needs a minor adjustment to osCommerce for osCommerce to work with it.
