Hello.. I am a beginner in this area... but I don't kown change permissions... :S

Please help me ... tell me where or where i can change permissions ( i m using windows )

Sorry my incorrect enghis but I am Portuguese.. Thank's for help me :)

I must change permissions...

After installing osCommerce follow these steps for post-installation:

1. Rename the catalog/install folder or delete it.

2. Reset the permissions on catalog/includes/configure.php and catalog/admin/includes/configure.php to 644 (if you are still getting the warning message at the top of the page after setting these configure.php files to 644 then set both configure.php files to 444 which is read only - this happens on some servers that have been updated for security reasons).

3. Set the permissions on catalog/images directory to 777

4. Set the permissions on admin/images/graphs directory to 777

5. Create the directory admin/backups and set the permissions to 777 (this is the folder to store the database backup of your store in the "Tools" section of the store admin).

6. Create the "cache" directory usually in catalog/cache or in the root and set the permissions to 777 (if cache is turned on in the store admin this is the folder pages are stored in as they are accessed on the Internet).

What type of web server is your program on? Did you use FTP to move the program from your windows PC to your web server?

Really..... I'm not a cynical person, just most of the people in the world hack me off.....
