lyndalijun Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 Before install oscommerce, I changed configuration.php in admin permission as 777, and configure.php in includes as 777. Then I still encounter the problem as follows: The following error has occurred: The configuration files do not exist, or permission levels are not set. Please perform the following actions: cd /home/lyndali/public_html/oscommerce/catalog/includes/ touch configure.php chmod 706 configure.php cd /home/lyndali/public_html/oscommerce/catalog/admin/includes/ touch configure.php chmod 706 configure.php What should I do? Can anyone help me? I am using php4.3, and apache 1.3.33 unix, and mySQL:4.0.22-standard Thanks Lynda
