richard05 Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 I downloaded the index.php onto my computer and made an extra copy of original file and then modified the index.php using wordpad. After saving the file and upload to server, it gave me the following error message: "Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. More information about this error may be available in the server error log. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request." Then I uploaded the "original copy" I saved earlier but it gave me the same error message. Why it happened like this? The "original index.php file" was not even touched!!! Why I still got error message and wasn't be able to access my site any more. Please advice. Richard
richard05 Posted April 13, 2005 Author Posted April 13, 2005 I also checked the server error log and it says: Premature end of script headers: /home/ihcwor2/public_html/ihcmall/index.php What does it mean? Is this problem fixable or I have to start all over again. Richard
