HI.

The reason i am asking is because i have opened a test account and every time it keeps taking me to the login part and that goes for edit details and confirm order, so for it to keep returning to login again something must be wrong, and i have had well over 50 people leave my site at the login part and even after opening an account, so i guessing they keep having to login. i know i would only do it my self once mybe twice then not trust the site after that.

someone pls help, i hate too beg but im losing customers.

many thxs

Hello,

Sorry to go back on this one, but i got an email from my host ( who are very big :( )saying that i need to go back to osc as they ( my host ) could not help me with the 1, warning sign ( but i fixed that by starting all over again 5 more days work ) but i havent finally learnt to back up  2, they could not change the cookies for me so i am back to the beginning again as my customers keep getting logged off after signing on then going to a new page eg basket and so on, but i cant change the cookies part myself as i will get the warning sign again ( at a guess ).

Could anyone pls help as this is the make or break of my site.

Many many thxs

When you were getting this error you were almost there.

Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file: /data/members/paid/j/e/jellybabys.co.uk/htdocs/www/includes/configure.php. This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file.

All you had to do at that point was to change the file permissions of includes/configure.php

What is the point of your hosting company providing osCommerce if they won't provide even basic help on installing it?
