HI,

Well im reading forums for 2 days to figure out what to do next..

I want to secure my login and want to have a login screen when I enter administartion page.

the site is on http://shop.brinkonline.info. When you go there and try checkout it says some pages do not excist. I think its all pretty simple when I know it but I dont know why it says it can not find the files. its looking for https:// instead of http:// I guess but can not find it????

Well anyway I need to make sure it can find the right files and also use SSL with it.

Probably some settings in Configure.php or something but I can not see what the problem is.

My includes/configure.php looks like this:

// Define the webserver and path parameters

// * DIR_FS_* = Filesystem directories (local/physical)

// * DIR_WS_* = Webserver directories (virtual/URL)

define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://shop.brinkonline.info/'); // eg, http://localhost - should not be empty for productive servers

define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https://shop.brinkonline.info/'); // eg, https://localhost - should not be empty for productive servers

define('ENABLE_SSL', true); // secure webserver for checkout procedure?

define('HTTP_COOKIE_DOMAIN', 'shop.brinkonline.info');

define('HTTPS_COOKIE_DOMAIN', 'shop.brinkonline.info');

define('HTTP_COOKIE_PATH', '/cookies/');

define('HTTPS_COOKIE_PATH', '/cookies/');

define('DIR_WS_HTTP_CATALOG', '');

define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '');

define('DIR_WS_IMAGES', 'images/');

define('DIR_WS_ICONS', DIR_WS_IMAGES . 'icons/');

define('DIR_WS_INCLUDES', 'includes/');

define('DIR_WS_BOXES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'boxes/');

define('DIR_WS_FUNCTIONS', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'functions/');

define('DIR_WS_CLASSES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'classes/');

define('DIR_WS_MODULES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'modules/');

define('DIR_WS_LANGUAGES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'languages/');

define('DIR_WS_DOWNLOAD_PUBLIC', 'pub/');

define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', '/var/www/virtual/shop.brinkonline.info/');

define('DIR_FS_DOWNLOAD', DIR_FS_CATALOG . 'download/');

define('DIR_FS_DOWNLOAD_PUBLIC', DIR_FS_CATALOG . 'pub/');

Im lost here..... can not see the problem. in admin panel is also says "You are not protected by a secure SSL connection." What I find strange because at install I said it should be on..

Im missing something here. index.php is driectly in root of shop.brinkonline.info

Well can someone help me by giving some instructions to this noobie :)

P.s. my catalog directory is in the root of de site. I made a virtual sub domain with clarkconnect. its a os wit integrated webserver apache.

so under the diorectory shop.brinkonline.info are the files. without the catalog directory itself.

DAmn I can not edit my posts :S.

Well anyway I changed the url in admin/includes/configure.php from http to https and now it can not find the pages I requested in administration page

:S

What should I fill in where it says when I have the files in my root....?

define('DIR_WS_HTTP_CATALOG', '');

define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '');

Im sorry for all the replys. Im home know and thought it over and all I want to know is, should I have ssl for a real webshop and do I need to pay for it...

The installing of ssl will come later. I can also use it without ssl now and if im right I can rename admin directory so others wont find it????

Well anyway I got SSL on my webserver. its enabled there so maybe I have advantage of it?

Thanks
