Guest Posted April 12, 2005 Posted April 12, 2005 All, I am new to the osCommerce, and have just finished setting up a site. Before going online, I am looking to secure the admin section of the site. By the admin section I am referring to : http://<site url>/admin Currently, it is open and can be accessed by anyone familliar with osCommerce. To avoid this, am I renaming the admin folder on the server until I need to use it ... however this is a pain. Is there a contribution or config step I am missing that will password protect this section? I did a quick search but did not come up with anything obvious. Thanks for you help! Dan.

I forgot about securing directories with CPanel. That has solved the issue! Take care, Dan.
