How do I remove the osCommerce Banner at bottom

I know this may be a dumb question but its worth a try...

How do I remove the osCommerce Banner at the bottom/footer?

Ive searched all though this forum and my source codes but I can find this entry anywhere. Ive downloaded my whole cataloge folder and did a local search with dreamweaver for the only thing I could figure to find this entry "oscommerce.gif" since thats the name of the banner and only came up with the file for the banner in the top header.

Am I allowed to remove the banner at the bottom that links to the oscommerce website ?

Is it some sort of frame code? Linking the banner from a remote host?

I seen other peoples oscommerce sites with out this banner.

I was easily able to find and change the text at the bottom/footer, but I cant figure out how to remove this banner.

Please help a n00b, :'(

You can find a banner manager under tools in the admin

delete it there

Now I really do feel dumb, but I learned something. I didn't notice that osCommerce had a banner manager. Ive been doing most of my work outside of the admin panel.

Thx alot, I hope this may help other n00b's out there as well, I suppose its a common first question when you start getting into your sites design.

Thx again, Winterchild

Don't feel dumb.

Sometimes you get so into the coding part that you forget the answer might be in the admin. (yes been there too and I know some other people who forgot too)

Besides you did try it yourself before asking the question. The extra code reading exercise may help you later
