I want the shop to look like this kinda? http://www.scorpionshops.com/mod_perl/mod_...l?netstore=3770 Well.. so I started with changing the header.php... first thing I do I screw the site up again... I just cant seam to understand how to do this?? :D Php just aint my thing huh? So please someone, where can I change the looks of the shop? Get rid of some unneccessary tables, and stuff... It would be so great if there was somewhere in the administration where ya could just go and change graphics/remove things. I?d sooooo love that! Also I dont want ppl to be able to register, since I have paying membership. Only ppl I have alowed to, can and will get registered. Then I want nonmembers to be able to purchase without having to register? Can I also change the fields for registration? I send by email, and there are no homeadress, or such required. Also I have no use for shipping either. Are these features possible for starters.. otherwise I just can quit this thing :D Sanks!
♥14steve14 Posted April 10, 2005 Posted April 10, 2005 The first place to start where you can see changes happening to your site will be in the stylesheel. (catalogue/stylesheet). Back up first, then start with playing with the hex colours, and you will start to see a change. Second place to start is in the catalogue/includes/languages/what ever your language/index, shipping, conditions, privacy files. Here you will learn to enter text, pictures and all that. Again back up first. When you start to see how php works, its not that hard. Start searching the contribution section for what you want, then simply follow the instructions to add then. You will soon get the hang of it, as we all did. REMEMBER BACKUP, BACKUP AND BACKUP
