rfflemflam Posted April 9, 2005 Posted April 9, 2005 I read the forums and found out how to move my oscommerce from /estore/nfoscomm/catalog to / directory or root. why was there so much directories, well becuase netfirms.com put it there... Well I moved the catalog directory to the root and configured the 2 files, everything went well... I wanted to edit my store and add products so i logged into member.netfirms.com click on oscommerce and click on configure store.... NOTHING SHOWS UP!!!! It says in my netfirms.com control panel that the installed path is /estore/nfoscomm/catalog/ so basically when i try to edit my store from the netfirms.com site it cant find the catalog directory since i moved it to the root.... since netfirms.com control panel doesnt work I entered mydomain.com/admin in my browser... OH NO!!! it automatically showed up without no login or password. Then I asked my friend to put mydomain.com/admin in his browser... OH NO AGAIN!!!! he was able to access the control panel tooooo!!!! :angry: Any one know how to fix this big problem? I dont want anyone to edit my store without me knowing it... or destroy it... Guest Posted April 10, 2005 Posted April 10, 2005 you need to use ftp to download, etdit the files, then upload. change the configure.php files and it shoudl work. dont edit with with your file manager.
