I'm trying to make a website using osCommerce where people can download e-books and e-software. its a student project for school and I really need help on it. I just downloaded the thing and have no idea where I should start! Can anyway help by sharing their first experiences with this thing and how they started.. like cuz i have no clue whatsoever, i dont know how to change the logo or add any pictures or writings.. I'm like so lost. One more thing, my project is due next month, do you think I could finish the website by then? or does it take a logn time to make? Thank you people.

Customising osC As for how long it's going to take........depends on where on the learning curve you are and how much you want to alter. A basic install and changing logos and colours isn't going to take a long time and doesn't require any real knowledge of what's going on under the hood, but it's likely to look rather drab. It's possible for sites that are close to stock look good, it's just on the whole they don't. hth
