Parse error

Hi newbie here, changed just one letter in the following file to change text on my catalog front page (new installation) now when i list my site i am met by the following message

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/******/public_html/catalog/includes/languages/english/index.php on line 13

, can someone please explain what i have done wrong?? Thanks
