Credit card module checks cards automatically?

Hi,

I have credit card module installed from Admin panel. But it does not check credit card - how do i make it check it automatically and cgarge it except paypal?

 

You can give it any card number and it will take it, but then do i have to manually check it at home or what?

 

Which payment modules are most recomended?

After i installed paypal from admin panel is that all i have to do to accept payments?

This is a simple manual way of doing it, you will need a merchant account with some one who can do the checking to use the details you capture.
