virose_pt Posted April 9, 2005 Posted April 9, 2005 I've been working on a site, been checking this forum regularly and see some OSC sites, so maybe i'm not a newbie anymore. I think I never saw a site made with osc that has a diferent product_listing.php, I mean, everyone uses those damn columns that just ruins the site. You must put just the name and the price columns, or otherwise everithing gets squeezed... :angry: I know there are good contributions, like showing the products like in "specials", but thats not what I want. My question is: it is possible to list the products like in amazon.com/amazon.co.uk: Name Price Brief Description ... I've been playing with the code, but no luck... Thankx

With it, I believe you can set it up in columns with product listings underneath, or in rows, which is how I do it on my site. You can see it in action at: http://www.kididdles.com/catalog (You'll have to go into a category to see how it looks -- the contributor hadn't figured out how to do it with the What's New section, and I haven't had time to delve into the code to see if I could get it working.) I'm guessing that,if a persons knows how to do it, he can then put everithing in rows... right? Nice site :thumbsup:

It's been so long that I don't remember exactly, but I think in the contribution when you select the listings in rows instead of columns, it comes up that way.
