babycaseysmom Posted April 9, 2005 Posted April 9, 2005 I have just bought a prebuilt website for my business and I am having so many problems. I do not know anything about SQL, PHP, FTP, Javascripts or anything like that. I am trying to install a guestbook and having so many problems. I can't add to my conditions of use. I don't know how to use the file manager, you name it. I am so ready to throw my computer out the frabbin window. I have spent the last 3 days figuring this stuff out and can't make heads or tails out of it. I can't in touch with my host (no phone) and the only thing they tell me in my emails is I don't need to know this stuff. I have complete ownership of this domain and I can't get it the way I want it. Can anyone please tell me the basics of some of this stuff? Heck with it, might as just well quit.

Good luck finding someone to walk you through hours/days and weeks of simple basics like "basic html" and FTP. Sorry but either you gonna have to do ALOT of reading, or get out your wallet if you want an e-commerce site.
