Kenth Posted April 9, 2005 Posted April 9, 2005 I was promised by my ISP (Inmotion Hosting in LA), that osCommerce could be setup to allow automatic e-book downloads. That is to say, once a patron pays via PayPal, PayPal then sends an email to osCommerce, which updates order status automatically to ?delivered,? and sends an email to the patron containing a link that will allow the patron to download the e-book. Well, after 3 payments of $45 per hour, my ISP has so far only been able to achieve a situation where I have to go in and manually set the order status to ?delivered?, then it sends the email with the link. It?s close, but not exactly what was promised, and now they want an additional 2 hours at $45 each to figure out why it can?t do the final step. A little help much appreciated.
