Canadian UPS

Hello all,

 

I am trying to setup a store based in Canada, i have defined country in my store and set zone for Ontario. Also in ADMIN>CONFIG>SHIPPING i have set country of origin and postal code with no spaces.

 

First of all i kept getting 'unsupported' country error upon checkout, however after installing 'UPS CHOICES' contrib i have managed to find a new error as stated below:

 

"Unable to obtain a rate quote for UPS?"

 

(whatever the destination address)

 

Looking on the forums I see many people having trouble with UPS from Canada.... Any suggestions?

As far as I know you need to have a US based store and zip to get the contrib UPS choice to work.

 

However, the XML contrib and associated support thread seems to indicate that contrib would work for you.

Many thanks for your reply, I took a look at the contrib and this requires a UPS account. Is there any other solution to make the current UPS Choices module compatible with the origin of Canada?
