Snuggles Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 The tax part has a mind of it's own! ......It's taxing every state. ......It's taxing the shipping, too. I turned OFF all taxes and it's still doing it! My settings are..... Countries - United States Zones - All mainland U.S. states plus Alaska & Hawaii Tax Zones - 0 Tax Classes - 0 Tax Rates - 0 What's the deal? I want Arizona only taxed and just the product, not the shipping. Help!
Snuggles Posted April 7, 2005 Author Posted April 7, 2005 Anybody have any idea what I'm doing wrong?
thumb Posted April 8, 2005 Posted April 8, 2005 I'm having the same problem. I am selling from California but when anybody from any other state orders something, it adds the California tax. I ONLY want to tax California addresses. I've tried about every scenario I could think of but no luck. Anyone know what to do I would aprreciate it.

Snuggles Posted April 8, 2005 Author Posted April 8, 2005 I have shipping as a taxable item? Well, that makes sense. But where did I do that at? I looked and can't find where I'd change that.

So, it you have UPS, USPS and any other shipping modules installed, you should check near the bottom of each edit screen to be sure shipping is set to non-taxable, unless, of course, you live in Texas, Florida, and maybe a few other states.
