Move new categories

Hello

 

I have just started uploading with no problems, however I added a new categorie and now this one is at the top of the list under the catorgie heading, I tried to move the one i want at the top of the list to the top from the admin panel but it appears to make no differance, are these just stuck in alphebetical order or am i Going wrong somewhere.

 

Also I notice I have to upload catergorie images and if i leave blank you get the red x image missing sign, I dont really want categorie images so is there a way to stop these showing, there is nothing on the admin panel that gives the option to leave out this.

 

Thats about it, once i get over these little gremlins everything else appears to be fine.
