upload products using easy populate ?

I have a txt file with 350.000 products that i must load.

 

Using easy populate splitt function witch 300 records it vill be > 1000 files.

 

Vhat to do ?????????????

I have a store with 38,000 products so far. We will end up with over 100,000 when we're done. I have spent many hours splitting the files by manufacturer, then let easy populate split them from there into 300 line files. I have many ep-splits being uploaded all the time it seems. Be nice to know if I can upload more than one ep split file at once....which is where the above question comes into play?

you are going to be better off where you have your own dedicated server, then you can change time in your php.ini file to allow more items to be uploaded.

if i were you, consider creating separate spreadsheets for your different manufacturers or categories, and use them as the master sheets to edit and upload to your site.

with a dedicated, you can probably do this in 10000 item chunks.

there is also another accounting program out there, where once you have all your items in your store, you can import to the accounting, as well as your customers, etc. and if you ned to make changes to certain items, you can do so easily.
