We have an existing OS Commerce store that just won't accept either Mastercard or Maestro cards, simply returns a message saying that the card isn't accepted and the user needs to try another card. As far as Maestro is concerned, I though this is a debit card compatibility logo, not a credit card standard. I'm not sure if the payment processors handle this the same as credit cards. Aren't the handling fees lower on debit cards compared to credit cards and might also be structured diffently ? gazzzzzza Posted June 8, 2005 Posted June 8, 2005 The UK switch contribution accepts maestro cards (and most other cards) :D have a search for it in the contributions area. always here to offer some useless advice....
