need help with feature

HELP PLEASE/

 

is there anyway to add a drop down box to a product so that i can charge a different price depending on the size of the product the user picks.

 

IE.

 

2 x 4 $5.00

4 x8 $10.00

 

then add the product to the cart with the price and size the user picked?

Just look under the attributes in admin.

but what if i want it to have other options like color and display a peice of the color as well.

 

so if they hit the second drop down, when it falls down it will display

 

red pic of red

black pic of black

blue pic of blue

I'm not sure exactly how you want that to look, but it sounds like you need to add in some JavaScript and DHTML through osC. You can certainly do that, but it is not for someone with limited web skills (not sure where you're at though, so forgive any presumption).
