RikR Posted April 3, 2005 Share Posted April 3, 2005 The original Paypal module does not save the transaction until the customer clicks at paypal to "Return to Merchant". If they pay but fail to return, no details get saved. The osC PayPal IPN module overcomes this by saving the details when the transaction is sent to Paypal. Twizted Posted April 4, 2005 Author Share Posted April 4, 2005 I managed to go back to 3.0a and found those files in actual php form... so I uploaded them and no more problems with that... I really love the way this thing works.... and it looks super nice.... but... I have a new set of issues... the dang IPN is not working, Im not getting e-mails for orders, and the cart is not emptying... :'( this is killing me... Twizted Posted April 5, 2005 Author Share Posted April 5, 2005 After much trouble trying to install ver 3.1.5 of devosc's Paypal Shopping CArt IPN all of yesterday with no luck... I was contacted by a Freelancer (Alpha Ray) who offered to build a package (for a price) on a new MS2.2 set of files with the PayPal Shopping CArt IPN from devosc installed on it.. and it worked beautifully.....
