Kassmotorsports Posted April 2, 2005 Share Posted April 2, 2005 (edited) We are shortly opening a new site using OSC selling Mini Cooper Accessories. The problem we are having is that each product has a different weight and size. We are going to use USPS to ship most items. Some of the items are being drop shipped i.e. Engines, Gearboxes ect. The problem we are having is that a customer may order say a decal, chrome trims, lights, and then say an exhaust system, all of them different sizes and weights. Our supplier does not have weights on every item. If we set a shipping cost on each item and the system combines these costs it will add up each shipping cost on each item which will be to expensive. Has anyone got any solutions to this problem? Maybe we should set a rate based on the value of order. If that?s the way to go can members point us to the correct module that you think will wor for us.I?m sure this is a common problem where a store has around 800 different products.
