clean Cache

How can I clean out the cache in oscommerce. I changed the name of my cataloge directory and the cached version keeps sending visitors to the old directory name.

Find the actual cache file (i.e. categories_box-english.cache etc.) and delete them and they will get re-generated. The cache folder name in the admin->configuration-cache should also be checked to see if its consistent with your new name in catalog. Under a windows/apache setup I never could get the path folder to work so I ran it with a blank value and the cache files show up in the catalog root directory with an extension of .cache. Under Linux the folder should work ok.

 

You might want to look into Chemo's contribution for cache as I'm sure its an excellent caching system.
