forgotten password email

Hi,

 

I have emails disabled on my site to stop order, sign up emails etc being sent.

 

There's just a major problem with this which is the 'forgotten password' emails aren't sent. We've been having a few customers recently who are trying to use this feature but obviously can't.

 

Is it better to enable all emails then manually disable the ones I don't want?

 

If anyone could help it would be massively appreciated!!
