randyrr5 Posted March 25, 2005 Share Posted March 25, 2005 ok.....i found oscommerce and i installed it everything went well.... Then i go start changin some things and i notice to warnings at the top one was like remove the install and the other the one im having problems with is changing the permisions on the configure.php.......so i opened up CuteFTP and found the file i changed the permissions to 444 and i still get the same warning. so then i put them to 0 and i still get that warning. i have also tried using just my browser... is there something that im doing wrong or something that i should know and another thing i have alot of broken images....they are the button one in includes/languages/english/images/buttons so i went to make sure they were all uploaded and such and they were...so why are they broken any help would be vary much appreciated...thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

dave111 Posted March 25, 2005 Share Posted March 25, 2005 Configure.php Permissions should be set to 444. The thing is some hosting doesn't allow you to set this permission via FTP. I had this problem, so i went into file manager in cpanel and changed the permissions via that instead of FTP.
