Guest
I am still configuring the website and asked my mom if she would go through checkout and pretend she is buying something. Well this is what is happening to her~~ "It still says welcome guest instead of my name. When I purchase something it is in the shopping cart until I press check out and then it says my shopping cart is empty. When I press sign in it says the shopping cart is empty.I press continue and I am back at the main page and I have items in my shopping cart." Can someone help? I even have a php fellow working on this and he is stumped too!! Sessions problem but exactly where? :'( TIA! ♥Vger
Your cookie domain in includes/configure.php should read either www.yourdomain.com or yourdomain.com and not http://www.yourdomain.com Vger
Guest
Thanks Vger for the reply, but apparently this wasn't the case. All my urls were correct. We activated cookie session handling... for some strange reason, osCommerce thinks my browser has cookies disabled... that is not correct. :'( Back to square one LOL Rhonda :-"
♥Vger
Force Cookie Use (which is what I think you are referring to) can only be used if your site does not use ssl or has a full ssl cert. It will not work if you use a shared ssl cert because the http_server and https_server addresses have to match up. Vger
Guest
Thanks Vger! I am posting a new thread as I did a boo boo trying to install my Canadian shipping module. Yikes! I think I better throw in the towel here LOL  Cheers! Rhonda
