I Need An Expert Help!

Right now I have the standard product listing page where each product is right on top of the next product and the product name is in the center and price is on the right side.

 

I am wanting to customize the product listing to look a little more professional. Does anyone know how I can make the product listing look something like this:

I like the borders at the top of each product and the short description next to the image with seperators.

 

Musicians Friend layout is neat and clean and if at all possible I would like to get close to this. Does anyone know if there is a contribution out already similar to this?
