I'm having a little problem. Oscommerce is charging taxes on sales made outside of my state, and it should only be charging sales tax when a sale is made inside of my state, do you know how to correct this problem, can you help me? Thanks

Have you set up tax zones and classes?

took to long to try and edit so i have to post again. lol

I set up the tax rate for my state, and set up one at 0% for everyone else.

Then set up 2 zones. One for my state, one for everyone else.

Then in the my store configuration area I have my state set for the zone.

I think that was I did, and only the people in my state get taxed.

May want to check the knowledgebase too, if you still can't figure it out.

I don't have enough experience yet to see if I have that problem. I have just made the settings to tax within the state, but haven't had any out-of-state-sales yet to know. Sounds like I do need to check it, though.
