Headers Already Sent Problem

Hi our wesbite, www.ceedeez.co.nz, is getting the problem discussed below, for some users. This is an URGENT problem right now as we are taking part in a Tsunami Raising Funds effort. Having volunteered to help with this excellent effort it is a real shame that our Site is now failing on us.

The problem:

Notice: Undefined index: HTTP_ACCEPT_ENCODING in C:\Sites\CeeDeez\Website\includes\application_top.php on line 19

Warning: session_start(): Cannot send session cookie - headers already sent by (output started at C:\Sites\CeeDeez\Website\includes\application_top.php:19) in C:\Sites\CeeDeez\Website\includes\functions\sessions.php on line 67

Warning: session_start(): Cannot send session cache limiter - headers already sent (output started at C:\Sites\CeeDeez\Website\includes\application_top.php:19) in C:\Sites\CeeDeez\Website\includes\functions\sessions.php on line 67

The problem is not occurring for everyone. We have already ensured there are no further characters at the start of, or end of the files involved (as per the knowledge base article).

Any ideas on what we can try next. We assume that turning off GZIP compression will fix the problem. We are not sure why, but the problem only originally appeared once we used GZIP compression.

Your help is appreciated.

you could check in your gzip_compression.php in includes/functions.

there $HTTP_ACCEPT_ENCODING is used.

did you disable register globals?

Many thanks, I will look into it. We have diables GZIP Compression for now so that fixed it temporarily - but the Site is slower.
