Hello world,

last week i installed osc, so I'm really new here - hope i'm in the correct forum with my questions, and i hope i will stick to all the rules. well, here's my problem: With the help of postings in the forum and other help-sites, i managed to create a new page, and link to this new page from my homepage. i know, this doesn't sound much, but i'm really happy i managed this first step (took quite some blood, sweat and tears, i have to admit). but now i'm stuck, and i hope somebody out there can help me:

on my main page i put a link to a page with background information on the country my products are from; i saved it as country_info.php. this worked ok. now i want to add a links on country_info for more detailed information; these links should direct the client to pages such as country_history.php, country_culture.php, country_news.php, and so on. my problem is that i only know how to set a link on the main page (i put some in the footer, others in the info-box). these links are then repeated on EACH page of my store. now, i don't want a link to country_history.php to appear on the first page. On the first page i ONLY want the link to country_info.php, and ONLY on country_info.php do i want to have the links to the sub-pages.

in another forum i was recommended to use the contribution Article Manager and "trick" the program by declaring my country_info -page as an article. I am not sure that this might not cause problems later on in the development of my site. Does anybody know a different solution? I spent a whole day searching the forum on this topic, but did not find anything: All link-creating-related articles dealt with putting links on the main page. I cannot believe that I should be the only one with this problem.

Any help is VERY welcome, because by now i'm really confused and don't know how to continue on my own :'( .

Within /catalog/includes/languages/english/country_info.php, you should be able to just add the links like regular html links within the context of the text, like so:

define('TEXT_INFORMATION', '<p>Your information bla bla bla</p>

<a href="country_history.php" target="_blank"><b>Country History</b></a>

You can see what I mean via the Shipping page on my site, where I created a number of sub-pages:
