Or edit it in catalog/includes/languages/english.php. (and cat/incl/lang/english/index.php The little icon thing??? i don't know which one you mean, but this can either be done by removing the image line from the index.php, or replacing the image with a blank transparent image of the same name in your catalog/images folder.
