I dont use OSC currently.

 

I am thinking using it for my sites, however i have some questions

 

all the products i sell require customer input

 

or example a roll of self adhesive address labels

 

for thsi a user would have to have 4 text boxes to input their desired four lines of text to be printed on the address labels.

 

can os commerce do or handle this?

 

 

is it possible to keep current web site design and just link into the shopping cart

 

we currently use a free shopping cart service that allows this and the text imput boxes, but were looking for a better shopping cart solution currently.

 

any help, comments, suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

There's a contribution that you can add to handle customer input. However, osCommerce is a soup to nuts solution. It goes from the front end catalog, through the cart, through the transactions, to a back end administrative piece. It would not easily integrate the way you are suggesting.

I have a Personalized shop in develoment. You can use this to add attributes to give your customers the ability to personlize any product.
