MySQL dump problem

I am trying to transfer my osCommerce site from my local machine to my service provider. I did a MySQL dump with the MySQL Administrator tool. After that I received the email below.

 

How did you do the dump?  I am unable to restore the database at this time as it's failing on a variable you have entered.

 

C:\mysql>mysql -u root -p shabda_03 < shabda.sql

Enter password: *************************

ERROR 1193 at line 1: Unknown system variable 'CHARACTER_SET_CLIENT'

SET @OLD_CHARACTER_SET_CLIENT = @ @CHARACTER_SET_CLIENT

 

MySQL said:

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
