Jack_mcs
Try posting the entire configure file here (without the private data). Maybe there is some other mistake in it. Levent
I installed osCommerce for a second time and get the following result when i point to a link on the main page of the website: http://://www.leatherware.nl/://www.leatherware.nl/index.php? if i change HTTP SERVER this is my /catalog/includes/configure.php: /* osCommerce, Open Source E-Commerce Solutions http://www.oscommerce.com Copyright © 2003 osCommerce Released under the GNU General Public License */ // Define the webserver and path parameters // * DIR_FS_* = Filesystem directories (local/physical) // * DIR_WS_* = Webserver directories (virtual/URL) define('HTTP_SERVER', '://'); // eg, http://localhost - should not be empty for productive servers define('HTTPS_SERVER', ''); // eg, https://localhost - should not be empty for productive servers define('ENABLE_SSL', false); // secure webserver for checkout procedure? define('HTTP_COOKIE_DOMAIN', 'www.leatherware.nl'); define('HTTPS_COOKIE_DOMAIN', ''); define('HTTP_COOKIE_PATH', '/catalog'); define('HTTPS_COOKIE_PATH', ''); define('DIR_WS_HTTP_CATALOG', 'www.leatherware.nl/'); define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', ''); define('DIR_WS_IMAGES', 'images/'); define('DIR_WS_ICONS', DIR_WS_IMAGES . Levent
my post went a little bit too early i was saying that when i change HTTP_SERVER i get rid of :// but then i am left with the double adress www.leatherware.nl/www.leahterware.nl this is caused by DIR_WS_HTTP_CATALOG cause if i change a single letter of DIR_WS_HTTP_CATALOG for example: www.leahterwaare.nl it becomes www.leatherwaare.nl/www.leatherwaare.nl i have no idea what causes this. Maybe it is caused throuhg one of the steps of the installation procedure. Where they ask for web server information specificaly the www adress. Levent
Vger many thanx it worked. Altough I had to change the following line you advised define('DIR_WS_HTTP_CATALOG', '/catalog/'); in define('DIR_WS_HTTP_CATALOG', '/'); then it worked. I think this is because my website (index.php) is located in the catalog directory on the server. and i told my provider to look in www.leatherware.nl/catalog/ when people enter www.leatherware.nl in their browser. I also had to make changes to /catalog/admin/includes/configure.php to make the links in the admin page work. Anyway so far i am still in the game with the help of you guys. :D
