♥ozcsys
hey everyone!Any fellow yahoo hosting users here??? I am having some difficulties and wanting to see if they are yahoo specific Please say hey and I would appreciate it if you could entertain a few questions John <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Your problems may well be yahoo specific. They seem to do well enough with plain html sites but gettin osC or any site that uses php and mysql seems to be somewhat problematic with the mysql connections seeming to be the biggest problem. What are your other questions? The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing. Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems? There are many very useful osC Contributions Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right?? ♥Vger
I believe I am correct in saying that Yahoo also do not allow the use of any file where the name starts with a period (dot), such as .htaccess or.htpasswd etc. Vger

After 20 minutes on the phone with them they were finally able to verify for me that they do not, under any circumstance, allow .htaccess files. I wish I knew that before I had signed up with them...
