minson
I have some products that have multiple options for the customer to choose from. For example Paint >> Option one - choose your color >> Option two - choose the size What do I need to do to be able to set up my store to offer this choice when I am populating the catalog? Is there a Module of some sort? If so, can someone point me in the direction of it. TIA!
tdupres
Hi Have a look at... AttributeSets v4 0 Its just a better way of organising the attributes. You can also ad multiple sets to each product but you have to click on edit everytime you want to add one ,might be sorted by now though? Hope that helps Toby
minson
Thank you! That was very helpful. I do have 2 more questions... Now that I have the attributes added to the product, I need to take the product description, the attribute boxes and the add to cart code and instert it into a custom made webpage. How do I go about doing this? Do I copy and paste part of the HTML code or is it much harder than that? ------ My second question is: How do I install other languages? Where do I get them? I need French. Also can I just upload the American Flag icon into the English language image folder to replace the one that is there?

The idea behind it is great. Create attributes, then make sets out of them for your products. Works great untill you have to edit a set. It will completely delete all other sets attached to your products except the one you updated causing you to have to go back and readd them manually again. Seems the original contributor did not take the time to finish the code. We had to have the entire code rewritten from scratch ... tdupres
Thanks for the heads up. Haven't encountered that little gem. I did wonder about that code as you can only add one set at a time. Would have thought an "add another set" button on the new product entry page would have been a good idea. Thanks again. Minson: Language packs are available in the contributions section, and yes you can just upload the american flag as a streight replacement for the UK flag. Just make sure the name is the same. As for the custom web page... What are you trying to do with this. Is it a separate page from osc or do you not like the layout. I found it easier to edit the product_info.php file to get it the way I wanted it. Toby
minson
Late last night I figured out a way to insert the code into the custom pages. I couldn't just alter the template because every page is different. Thank you for the info. I am off to find the language I need. :D
