Product url problem + external image link

I currently have 2 problems,

1)

I recieve a list of products from the manufactuer and i use the more info product url in the products page, however i recieve all of the links with http, is there a way i can change oscommerce so that it can accept links with http:// instead of having to remove the http bit each time.

 

2) the 2nd is that i receive all of the product images, when have added them, it not showing the images

the image url it is adding is:

 

http://www.mysite.com/images/http://www.ma.../lead-ffc01.jpg

 

but i want the image to be http://www.manufacturer.com/products/lead-ffc01.jpg
