how do I add SSL afterwards?

You change ssl to true in your two configure.php files and enter in your https: path defines as well in the same files. If you have your own certificate it should not take more than a few minutes. If you are using a shared it sometimes takes some tweeking to get right but if you have the correct path from your hosting company even that should not take long.

The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing.

Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems?

There are many very useful osC Contributions

Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here

BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right??

Just modify configure.php with a text editor or with in the file manager? how did oscommerce get to be so great?i think its better than miva merchant
