alatiq Posted March 2, 2005 Share Posted March 2, 2005 I would like to insert some products and services into my shop as "information only" that provide all the details but do not go through to the check out, where customers can link to, either by the web page link or another method, to a dedicated site for that product/service. I have tried by configuring in the stock configuration section but when "out of stock" is selected for the product on product page it will not show up in the shop. Wendy James Posted March 2, 2005 Share Posted March 2, 2005 I am not quite sure I understand you 100% but if it is not something that has to be purchased through the shopping cart, could it be done by just adding extra pages? Like the pages linked in the "information" box? If so you could create a box specifically for those services and I am sure there is a contribution somewhere for making aditional boxes.. or maybe something like the Tab Pages Unlimited or Information Pages Unlimited would work. Tab pages adds additional pages to the site using a tab navigation system and works with one of the WYSIWYG editors so you can make pages on the fly or links to pages you already have really easily... Works quite well, I have it installed on a site I am setting up for a friend and I have the Information Page Unlimited installed on my site. Love it.
