vee
Hello, Very much appreciate your feedback on this sports store which is approaching go-live. Any last minute tips or tweaks gratefully accepted: http://www.pure-sports.co.uk/catalog/index.php (ps - thanks Burt for inspiration and help - ykwim :)) Thanks vee
Spots
looks awesome....Great layout and great design. I especially like the gradiant going down in the background. Really creative.. Nice job. My only suggestion would be to maybe (if you can) cut down the number of categories and sub categories. There's so many things that you have to click through in order to find an actual item for sale. But that's just my opinion =)
Wendy James
Site looks fantastic, I love the layout. Definately creative and "not out of the box". I have to say I agree with Spots though, have to do a lot of clicking to get to the actual product listings. Wendy James Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep.
burt
(ps - thanks Burt for inspiration and help - ykwim :)) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> :D Glad to be of service ;) It looks great! I'd consider putting a border around your product images in the Category Pages, eg: http://www.pure-sports.co.uk/catalog/index...ath=109_112_126 as the white background cuts into the muted back logo - so a border around them would look better IMO. Or have all the products as transparent background gifs (that'd be alot of work though)?
radders
I love the site! Just remove the 'This product as added to our catalog on.....' I'm afraid I can't see what the others mean about the product images. The table background is white and the product images have a white or transparent backgound doesn't it? vee
Thanks folks! Take the points about the number of clicks to reach a product but this is how the customer wanted it structured :( The product images are also the customers albeit we did the cat and sub cat images. Unfortunately the product images are supplied by the manufacturers and as yet the user is still learning about image sizing etc. I'll point out the advantages of transparency or border and see how he gets on. Thanks again....... vee
Destra
Your breadcrumbs don't seem to have enough room as in this product Kookaburra 3/4 Sleeve Shirt JNR being cut off at the end (in FireFox v1.0 anyway).
vee
Hi, Thanks for that - the breadcrumb wraps for me in FF and IE? I'll check again tho'. Thanks
