Rabenschwinge
Hi guys, Name?s Rabenschwinge and I?m a oscommerce-addict... No, seriously: I found this lovely little forum because I looked for a solution to a little problem, that occurred when I tried to transfer the Shop from one server to another. As usual, I transfered the MySQL data per SQL-textfile to another MySQL server, and changed the data in the config-file. The shop itself seems to work fine, but when I tried to enter the admin-section, I met an error - it seems, that somewhere there is still the information for the OLD database server. Now, my question: Could you tell me, which files I have to change to make the shop work properly on the new server? I would prefer not to have to enter all the products data into a new installation... I would be grateful for any help you can give me, Best Regards, Rabenschwinge PS: If my english sounds strange to you, I appologize, it?s not my first language
dblake
Yea I have seen this too, wierd eh? Its due to the dns servers I believe. Are you trying to access the site by IP? Well if you are, just type in http://IP.IP.IP/admin/index.php and it will work. IF your using the domain name, then maybe the dns servers haven't updated for you? Another possiblilty is, are you using any kind of cache files? You would have to clear those out. Hope this helps ;) Dennis
