dadkins20
I have a Win2K3 Server with a fresh osCommerce install for a client. I managed to get through the installation fairly easily, but now when I access the pages all I get in a blank page that has the HTTP header written in it. I'm not sure where the error could be. You can see the blank page at http://206.51.234.212/catalog/index.php or http://206.51.234.212/catalog/admin/index.php Any ideas? -- David

dadkins20
A search on "blank page" leads you to this post, which could hold the answer to your problem <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thanks for the response, but I tried editing the upload.php file as suggested in that other post and still no joy. Now that I read back on my post, when I'm not exhausted, I can give a little more information. During the setup, I had to do the register globals fix, and a fix to make the installation find the oscommerce.sql file. I did check and everything inserted into the database correctly, however and the installation did complete successfully. I'm not sure if there is some sort of error in the setup, or if one of these "fixes" actually made the setup not work. It could even be my php setup (however I wouldn't think it was this because phpNuke works find, along with the setup for osCommerce). -- David
Winterchild
Another option given by Vger from this thread Are you using FrontPage extensions on this site? If you are then get your hosting company to remove them, then go to your website and remove all folders starting with vti_ I have seen this problem of blank pages before, and it's been caused by FrontPage extensions.
