dblake
Ok you lost me... You basically want to password protect your admin folder right? Or am I off?
babylea
dennis is right. you need to password protect the admin folder. you will be able to access them by submitting your username and password when the prompt comes up when you attempt to go the admin page... incorrect details will prevent the user from viewing the page / files. Taxidermist
go to this URL http://www.webmaster-toolkit.com/htaccess-generator.shtml it will generate for you the .htaccess and .htpasswd so all you got to do is remember your new user:pass and upload the files into the folder you want to protect.
