We were contacted by a global crane manufacturer as they want to open an online shop for consumables (oil filters, belts, tires etc?) on a pan-European basis. These guys are used to dealing with people like SAP and Oracle. We pushed for an OSC solution and they were interested by the Open Source approach but their main question (which I am passing on) was: - do you know of large companies using OSC (even for a small part of their business like spare parts)? I browsed through the reference shops on www.oscommerce.com but could not really find something big. Many thanks to let me know if you have a major account using OSC. Etienne M.
