Guest
Ok sorry if this is a stupid question, but when I go to the /admin directory of my oscommerce site, it lets me in straight away without asking for a password - is this right? I don't really like the thought of anyone being able to get into the admin section!
OceanRanch
osCommerce has no "built-in" admin password so that you can add whatever level of security you want. Protect the admin folder via your control panel. Password protect the admin folder using .htaccess (if you have an apache webserver). Add an admin password contribution to oscommerce. Search for "admin with levels" in contribution link at top of this page. HTH Tom
