willross
khoking At around line 88 you should see this: $categories_string .= ' (' . $products_in_category . ')'; The ' ' is a non-breaking space. You can make adjustments here. Quote · willross ··········

willross
jchi18 Change these and you will be all set. kabuca
Will, I have since moved to CRE loaded as the mods were killing me. Do you work much with those guys with your contribs? I have pretty much got everything I want except being able to remove the buy it now button and use a quanities box next to the item in cat list... the customer would enter the number they would want for each item (lets say under paints) and just have to hit add to cart and all the items would be listed at once. This is critical as most of my customers are buying multiple items and it is not practical adding 1 at a time Here is my site. www.kabucas.com here is what I am looking to do www.jerrysartarama.com
willross
jchi18 Change the background color from #eeeeee; to what matches your store: background-color: #eeeeee; I was just showing you the style and where it was used. kabuca Does the current CRE have this feature in their 'categories.php'? If so, I should be able to move it over to this one. Quote · willross ··········

Guest
Hello, I just installed the newest Version of that great Contribution, but I have problems with long category-names. the linebreak isn't very nice. I saw, that the newest version doesn't create a table for each category, but an older does. But the older does not display the categories like I want. I need a mix between both. BUT: can anybody help me to realize that? or post the categories.php? regards, Philipp

I've also ben attempting to modify the code so that a top cat with NO subs does not have the > indicator. I'd prefer to have nothing there as it seems misleading. custodian
OK, still having no luck with preventing the item counts from wrapping to the next line and not having the top cat display an arrow if there are no sub cat's. Any suggestions anyone? Oh, and has anyone figured out a way to be able to click on the cat a second time in order to have it collapse after it's been expanded? This is just a want, while the first part is more of a need. Looks like I'll need to ditch this and go back to the stock layout until I can get this figured out. trevb54
Will Ross, thanks. This is one of the best contributions I have seen on this board! I am working against time for the new year, and I am sure I will meet the time and spec requirements. Have installed the seperate_colors_for_great_categories and looks great indeed. Works well with a wide variety of product range.... I however have two problems. a. The subcategories are not showing in the box, though thox shows up. b. Cant figure out why some thema images are not showing up. Any Ideas around each of these? Tony Hi, I like everyone else, I love the contrib. However I seem to have lost the box that goes around everything in the categories. I'll try and dig a little deeper but any help would be great. custodian
I am facing the same issue, still no LUCK, anyone can suggest the area where the root of the problem is ?I am fairly new to osc and hence little hard to find the location of exact piece of code for me. I'm still at it too. I've tried trim and chop in numerous places believing the issue lied with an extra set of white spaces or a return before of after the code, but nothing. Results the same. I haven't given up, though I'm currently stumped as well. And of course this board has SOOOO much activity :( Quote My Contributions Henry Smith
willross
OK. What version are you using. Please be specific. If you choose to show product counts, then the place you need to look is here: Line 80 in Standard v2.1 $categories_string .= ' (' . $products_in_category . ')'; There should be no way to wrap that. If so, use the old "nowrap" in the <td> or even older "<nobr>". Quote · willross ··········
